Welcome to POTIONS FOR BEGINNERS.
I am Kath Snape, a 7th year Hufflepuff Prefect. I have loved taking classes for the past six years here at HOL and in the fall of 2009, I decided to try my hand at being a student teacher. My love for the Harry Potter books, characters and class subjects, have brought me to this stage of my HOL career.
Of course, you have already spotted my name, so there should be no surprise why I have chosen POTIONS as my most favorite class to teach. I hope to teach you something about the tools, ingredients and the many different potions we have all read about in the Harry Potter books.
There will be some guess work and my own ideas, of how the potion masters of old made their potions. We will try to follow, of course, the known information that is available for any potion we discuss.
I am truly excited to offer you POTIONS FOR BEGINNERS. I sincerely hope you will have a fun time and enjoy the class and the assignments.
